On Wednesday, October 22nd, Founder Institute’s CEO/Founder Adeo Ressi sat down with us to discuss startup fundraising. He provided a refreshingly honest and straightforward perspective on how to go through the long, grueling fundraising process, from preparing to begin a round, to finding investors and setting up meetings, to finally closing deals. Adeo titled his presentation, “The New World of Funding,” to indicate the rapidly changing landscape of startup fundraising.
Adeo started Founder Institute in 2009 to provide entrepreneurs with a platform to launch a business as a first-time founder. FI has grown to become the leading program in the space of founder development, holding 3.5-month programs in 87 cities around the world, resulting in almost 1,400 launched companies. Adeo also announced that FI is launching a venture fund that will be funding very early-stage companies from all around the world.
