Onevest announced today the addition of NYU’s Professor and Data expert, Anindya Ghose, to its board of advisors.
Prof. Ghose is the co-Director of the Center for Business Analytics at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He serves many other roles at NYU Stern, teaching courses in IT and Marketing, as well as serving as a Daniel P. Paduano Fellow of Business Ethics and a Robert L. & Dale Atkins Rosen Faculty Fellow. In addition, Anindya has been a visiting professor at the Wharton School of Business.
Prof. Ghose was recently named by BusinessWeek as one of the "Top 40 Professors Under 40 Worldwide" and by Analytics Week as one the "Top 200 Thought Leaders in Big Data and Business Analytics". He has consulted in various capacities for Apple, Facebook, and Samsung and collaborated closely with Alibaba, Google, IBM, and many other leading Fortune 500 firms on realizing business value from business and digital analytics.
Prof. Ghose will play a critical role in guiding Onevest’s team when implementing a more efficient structure around data collection. In particular, his expertise will improve our ability to predict startup exit outcomes, which is intended to help investors make better informed decisions.
